We can convert used cooking oil into biodiesel
Our purpose built biodiesel plant is the UK’s largest processing site solely dedicated to producing biodiesel from used cooking oil. Not only this but it features cutting edge technology that enables us to produce biodiesel to the EU specification, 14214. This high standard of biodiesel isn't usually achievable in standard technology biodiesel plants when using used cooking oil as a feedstock.
We measure our carbon reductions to the standard of ISO 14064 which means the biodiesel we produce shows more than a 90% carbon saving compared to using regular fossil diesel.
Agri can offer its customers 100% biodiesel or blends of biodiesel and regular fossil diesel. This gives us a range of fuel options to meet our customer’s requirements all year round. Offering a closed loop recycling solution such as this means our customers not only reduce their individual impact on the environment but also cuts costs.
In addition to our closed loop solutions we also provide biodiesel to large fuel companies so they can meet the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO). This UK requirement means that transport fuel suppliers must ensure a small percentage of all road vehicle fuel is supplied from sustainable renewable sources. In do this, we are aiding the governments initiative to help ensure millions of road users get access to more sustainable road fuels.
