The MP for South Northamptonshire Andrea Leadsom recently highlighted the need for greater awareness of the theft of used cooking oil from catering establishments - which is processed for renewable energy - in a Parliamentary question to the Secretary of State for Transport.
Agri had the privilege of advising Andrea with regards to theft of waste cooking oil, along with the steps that Agri is taking to minimise the growing problem.
In an interview with the Northampton Chronicle & Echo newspaper, Head of Strategy and Business Development Adam Baisley commented “We hope people will take notice now this has been raised in Parliament and that the regulations can be tightened up.”
